Assets such as land, production facilities, drilling equipment, and supporting infrastructure represent significant investments with long life cycles. As such, effective asset management is critical—not only from a technical and operational perspective but also in terms of accounting, reporting, and regulatory compliance.
To ensure transparency and accountability, SKK Migas has issued PTK 059, a formal guideline on asset management covering asset classification, capitalization, reporting, and disposal. The use of SINAS (Sistem Informasi Aset) as a digital asset reporting system has become a key compliance tool for PSC Contractors. At the same time, a large portion of upstream oil and gas assets are imported under customs facilities such as duty exemptions and tax incentives, making it essential to align asset management with applicable customs and fiscal regulations.
Failure to properly integrate these three critical aspects—asset management, accounting & SINAS reporting, and customs compliance—can lead to audit findings, financial penalties, and potential state losses. This training is therefore designed to equip participants with a comprehensive understanding and practical skills for managing upstream oil and gas assets in a compliant and integrated manner.
